Welcome to IRAP’s Data Validation Home Page!
In an effort to improve the quality of the student data that IRAP loads and then reports, we have improved the quality of the reporting that we do for the Campus data that we receive. Our new reporting presents that campus data we receive in an easy to understand manner.
Within each subject area, there are tabs for Severe Errors (file-level and/or record-level data that we drop and do not load),
Element Errors (non-severe errors) and Group Errors (an error generated due to inconsistencies between two or more input data elements).
There is also a tab for Year Over Year Reporting. This can be helpful in pointing out trends in the new data that may not necessarily be caused by data errors, but which could cause either UCOP IRAP or the Campus to wish to investigate further.
